Why is it … you and 10 of your closest friends can walk into any nice restaurant in town (as far as I know) …have a nice meal … hand them your credit card … and have them accept it with no questions asked. Then you pull through the drive through at the local KFC… order a $10 bucket of chicken wings.. hand them your credit card (same one that just bought that $400 meal for you and your 10 friends)… and have them ask for your ID?
Is it the clientele? The lower profit margins on fast food? A sign of things to come?

I rarely eat at Long John Silvers. However, tonight the wife and I both had a craving for fish. I pull into the drive thru and notice the car in front of me pulling away without ordering. I overheard something that sounded like: “I’m sorry we are out of..” Knowing that the last time I had visited this same Long John Silvers they were strangely “out of fish”, I pulled forward and immediately asked what they were out of. You guessed it… Long John Silvers was out of fish. The place basically sells one thing, and they are out of it the last two times I have visited. Don’t believe I will bother going back.
What did I do instead? I pulled across the street and purchased chicken from KFC … better grease than Long Johns… less fishy… lol
