Fortunately <a href="http://www.giganews.com/?c=gn115529" title="Giganews" target="_blank">Giganews</a> (my news server of choice) has has done that for me. They have created <a href="http://www.giganews.com/usenet-university/index.html" title="Usenet University" target="_blank">Usenet University</a>, a great place for beginners to learn about newsgroups.</p>

Personally, I find <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Binary_newsgroups#Binary_newsgroups" title="Binary Newsgroups" target="_blank">binary newsgroups</a> a far better method of downloading and distributing files.
