Hi, my name is Richard Duncan. I live in Knoxville, Tennessee. As the old saying goes: I am a jack of all trades and a master of none. For my real/paying job I work for a major computer distributor as a Solutions Architect. Basically, I build (on paper at least) retail POS systems from IBM, HP, and others.

In my “other” jobs, I do computer maintenance and repair for individuals and small businesses. I also build and host web sites (A big project in the works as we speak, more on that later). Lastly, I sell “stuff” on eBay and local flea markets in my free time (whatever that is).

As many of you know or have guessed: the name Professor Falken comes from a character in the movie War Games. That movie sparked my interest in computers many years ago. I purchased my first computer in 1992 and have been hooked ever since.

Almost forgot, the one thing I am not: a writer. You will find mistakes here. When you do, feel free to bring them to my attention. Or, simply enjoy the laugh knowing you are smarter than me..:-)
