As anyone who knows me very well already knows, I do not follow politics very close. However, I am a regular reader of the mostly political instapundit blog written by fellow Knoxvillian and UT Law Professor: Glenn Reynolds. Today I stumbled upon this entry (be sure to follow the links and definitely watch the video). I just can’t see Barack Obama being elected president. Tooooo many skeletons in his closet.

Have a look at the Washington Post’s factcheck on Ayers. Obama was 8 years old at the time of the Weatherman events. Ayers was a professor of education at the University of Illinois and a former aide to Mayor Richard M. Daley. I think trying to demonize Obama for the Weatherman’s actions is really grasping at straws.
